Registration Information

Again this year, you can build your own program. The convention will offer an option to register for any day or days you want to attend, or register for the entire four-day event. You attend the days you want to attend. Due to this format, it is important to wear your name badge to all CE sessions, social events and the exhibit hall. Your name badge contains the days you are attending plus all meals you have purchased.

Registration, advance or on site, is required for admission to the convention. Advance registration must be postmarked by January 4, 2024 or faxed or register online by January 8, 2024 to receive the discounted fee. Full four-day veterinarian registration includes admittance to the continuing education sessions, breakfast and lunch on Friday, Membership Meeting and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, MVMA & MU-CVM Breakfast With the College on Sunday, refreshment breaks, and entrance into the Exhibit Hall.

The Proceedings is available for download and print at no charge approximately one week prior to the convention through the new MVMA Convention app and website. Pre-registered attendees will receive an email with information on how to download the MVMA Membership & Convention app. There are no printed proceedings available, but you are able to print them from the download.

Cancellation and Refunds

No refunds will be made after January 8, 2024. Refunds will be made only if the registrant contacts the Missouri VMA office by January 8, 2024 requesting reimbursement.

Name Badges

Please wear your name badge at all Convention functions. Name badges are required for meals, admission to all CE sessions, social events, and exhibit hall. Children who do not have a name badge will be admitted if they are accompanied by an adult.

Veterinary Students

Students are invited to attend all four days of the Convention at no charge (sponsored meals included).  There is no paper registration for students, so make sure to register online. Be sure to attend the Student Welcome and Foundation event on Friday afternoon, Student Reception on Saturday afternoon along with the Awards Ceremony & Student Mixer on Saturday after the evening awards ceremony. There is also a designated Study Hall Room on Friday and Saturday in between events.

Students are also encouraged to attend the free MVMA Academy Lunch on Saturday (select meal on registration form if planning to attend). The Academy is the continuing education arm of the MVMA and sets a high standard for education that is consistent with the ideals of the veterinary profession.

Special Needs

If you have a disability that may affect your participation in this meeting or need special dietary requirements, please include it on the registration form or send a statement regarding your needs to the Missouri VMA office. Special rooming needs due to a disability should be requested from the hotel when making reservations. We will contact you to discuss accommodations. We cannot assure the availability of appropriate arrangements without early notification, but every effort will be made to meet your needs.
